Commercial

The Compsons team is available to install and maintain the most up-to-date heating advancements for commercial buildings. We specialise in renewable technologies and our experienced team instals and maintains air source heat pumps, including air-to-air pumps, air-to-water pumps and all ASHP systems.

If you are looking for a greener solution to heat your office, retail or hospitality business, contact us. We are available to talk about the available options and what would be suitable for you.

We are proud to be MCS Accredited – there are just a handful of companies locally that are MCS accredited to design and install air source heat pumps.

Air-to-air heat pumps

We are experts in the design, installation, service and repair of renewable heating technology. We completed our first ground source heat pump installation in 2004 and have expanded and developed our services since then.

  • Air-to-water heat pumps are often referred to as air conditioning. While many people think of air conditioning as a way of cooling buildings, it can also be used for heating commercial spaces. Air-to-air heat pumps for offices and retail buildings can be used all year round to ensure the ideal temperature is maintained.
  • Air-to-water heat pumps can be installed in commercial properties. They work by transferring heat from the outside air to water that heats radiators or underfloor heating. The heat from the air is absorbed into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a heat exchanger and then transfers that heat to water.

What are commercial air source heat pumps?

An air source heat pump is a green, low-carbon device that provides heating for businesses. There are 2 types available, air-to-air and air-to-water heat pumps. To learn what air source heat pump is right for your commercial building, call us for a consultation.

Every commercial or business property is different. The suitability of an air source heat pump will be determined by the size of the building and the way that the space is used. The best way to understand the systems is to arrange a visit with one of the engineers at Compsons.
